The fastest writing app with the smartest boundaries

See what you think.

A writing app that's fast enough to think in and smart enough to think with. Your notes are encrypted. Your ideas are connected. Your thinking becomes visible.

On cognitive spaces and boundaries

The way we organize our thinking reveals something about the thinking itself. When I separate my UX research from my product strategy, I'm making a claim about the relationship between those domains.

What if those boundaries were permeable rather than rigid? Not a free-for-all, but a thoughtful membrane that lets certain ideas pass through.

What Makes It Different

Not another note-taking app.

Other tools help you organize information. Scrillium helps you understand your own thinking.

Your keystrokes never touch the server. Ever.

The editor runs entirely in your browser. AI processes in isolated background threads. The writing surface is as fast as a local app because, for all practical purposes, it is one.

Open ideas flow freely. Walled ideas stay put.

Create spaces for different domains of your thinking. Open spaces let the reflection engine find connections everywhere. Walled spaces are vaults. Client work never leaks. General thinking connects.

Your notes are encrypted. A query returns nothing readable.

Your writing is encrypted in the database using Supabase Vault. A direct database query returns gibberish. We built it this way because your thinking deserves more protection than a policy page. The technical details are in our privacy policy, because trust is built on specifics.

You write. The connections find themselves.

No tags to maintain. No backlinks to create. No manual organization. Write a note today and Scrillium quietly connects it to something you wrote three months ago in a different space. The system does the work.

See which ideas are growing in your thinking.

Momentum indicators reveal patterns you can't see on your own. Which concepts are accelerating? Which ones have stalled? Your writing tells a story about where your mind is going. Scrillium makes that story visible.

No databases. No canvas. No plugins. No customization. No backlinks. No AI writing for you. Every limitation is a choice that makes Scrillium faster.
How It Works

It gets smarter the more you write.

You don't configure anything. You don't organize anything. You just write. Scrillium does the rest.

01

Write in spaces

Create spaces for different areas of your thinking. UX Research. Product Strategy. Personal Journal. Each space is a context. Mark them as open (ideas flow freely) or walled (ideas stay contained).

Valuable on day one
02

Connections appear

As you write more, the reflection sidebar starts surfacing connections between your ideas. "You wrote something related to this three weeks ago." No manual linking. The system finds the patterns.

Emerges after a few notes
03

Your thinking becomes visible

Momentum indicators show which ideas are growing, stable, or fading. You see where your energy is actually going. The product reveals something about you that you didn't know.

Powerful after a month
Intentionally Limited

Everything we chose not to build.

Every feature a competitor adds makes them slower. We get faster by staying focused.

No databases or spreadsheets
No whiteboard or canvas
No tags or manual backlinks
No plugins or extensions
No font or theme customization
No AI writing your content for you

These aren't missing features. They're the reason it's fast.

Your Writing Is Private

Encrypted. A database query returns nothing readable.

Your writing is encrypted in our database using Supabase Vault. We built it this way because your thinking deserves more protection than a promise on a policy page.

What's encrypted

Everything you write. Note content, personal annotations on links, and every historical snapshot of your thinking. All encrypted at the database level.

Our approach

A direct database query returns encrypted gibberish. Our reflection engine decrypts content only at the moment it's needed, then discards the plaintext. We're fully transparent about how this works in our privacy policy, because trust is built on specifics, not vague promises.
